Indian Army Recruitment 2024 criteria

(a) Female candidates  who are unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed without any hindrance are eligible.

(b) Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India.

(c) Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2007 (inclusive of both dates).

(d) Initial Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), and English in the first attempt, securing not less than 50% marks. They should have obtained these marks as a regular student from a recognized Board/University/Examination Institution.

(e) Physical Standards: Medical fitness for admission to the B.Sc. The Associated Medical Board will determine the standards for the nursing course. The minimum height requirement for entry into the Women’s Armed Forces is 152 cm. For candidates from hilly and north-eastern states, the minimum height requirement is 147 cm. An additional growth allowance of 02 cm is provided for candidates below 18 years of age at the time of examination.

Indian Army 2024 Recruitment Process

(a) The Indian Army will shortlist NEET (UG) candidates for the year 2024 based on their marks. The reference numbers of shortlisted candidates for the screening process will appear on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Shortlisted candidates must attend the Test of General Intelligence & General English (TOGIGE), Psychological Assessment, Interview, and Medical Examination at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt. Admit cards for these examinations can be downloaded from the aforementioned website.

Note: The screening process dates will not be changed except under extreme circumstances.

(b) All shortlisted candidates must present original copies of the documents listed on the admit card during the screening process at BHDC. If candidates do not possess the original certificates, they must provide an original receipt from the institution where the documents were submitted. Candidates must also submit an undertaking confirming their commitment to produce all original certificates during the admission process.

Note: Failure to meet eligibility criteria, missing documents at any stage of the selection process, or deliberate suppression or misrepresentation of information, will result in disqualification or loss of candidacy for shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply Indian Army Recruitment 2024

Interested candidates who have qualified NEET (UG) 2024 can register through www.join Indianarmy.nic.in, which will be accessible after the declaration of NEET (UG) 2024 result. Transitioning to the registration process, candidates will provide their name, mobile number, email ID, and other details online. Additionally, scanned copies of required documents must be uploaded in the prescribed size and format. The candidate’s email ID will serve as the user ID for the website, and the candidate will choose their own password. It is imperative for candidates to note down their username and password for accessing the website and for all future correspondence.

Moving forward, candidates are requested to make corrections in the filled application form using the EDIT menu and ensure that all corrections are made before clicking on the SUBMIT button. It’s important to note that correction in the application will not be possible after final submission.

All candidates (except SC/ST) will need to register through an online payment gateway as they transition to the payment process. They must pay an application processing fee of only Rs 200/-. SC/ST candidates must upload documentary proof.

Upon successful completion of online payment, the system will generate a Bank Reference Number (DU Number) and display a confirmation page. Candidates can note down the DU number for all future references (except SC/ST).

Concluding the process, candidates may retain a printout of the filled application along with the payment confirmation page for reference.
